ARTENUR / Cairo
Conceived in Egypt.
From case to dial.
Not an Egyptian motif added to a watch. A watch conceived as a complete design, with its own arrangement of material, space and light.

The composition

in the same frame.
Both watches retain the emerald field, black meridian and seven silver rib guides. Changing the right-hand field changes the way that structure is seen.
The names Al Nur and Az Zalam do not establish a hierarchy between the two watches. Each is complete on its own terms.
The house’s intent extends beyond the dial: the negative space of the lug, the placement of its name and the selected case composition are decisions within the same object.
The undertaking
From design
to physical work.
ARTENUR is an Egyptian watchmaking project in development. Its authorship is expressed through choices and responsibility for them, not through a borrowed history of manufacture.
The digital design is one stage. Building knowledge around material, construction and finish is the work that must follow.
